WE Work Safe

Gathered alongside over 2400 trade partners and our employee-owners, we reinforced our commitment to creating zero-injury workplaces throughout Construction Safety Week 2024.

We celebrated Construction Safety Week 2024 with stand downs across W.E. O’Neil offices and job sites. Our teams from coast to coast organized various activities aimed at educating our people and trade partners, reinforcing safety awareness, and expressing gratitude to our dedicated workers.

This year, we were able to provide quality safety training and hands-on demonstrations to over 2,400 trade partners!

United, we recognize that safety isn’t just a priority; it’s a collective responsibility ingrained in our core values. Our commitment to lifelong learning and open communication drives us one step closer to achieving a zero-injury workplace.

Together, let’s actively encourage, listen, and empower each other to foster a thriving and safer workplace for our co-workers and especially for our loved ones waiting for us at home.

Below is a round-up of just some of the topics covered on our projects nationwide.
Let’s keep moving toward a zero-injury mindset!

Why WE Work Safe…

Our safety culture nationwide is driven by the desire to protect ourselves, our colleagues, our community, and especially, our family. As our CEO John Finn said, “Together we can move the construction industry towards a zero-injury mindset. Safety is not just a priority, it’s a culture. Let’s work together to build a stronger safety culture on all jobsites, where constant vigilance can resolve problems before they lead to injuries.

Safety means being aware of our surroundings no matter what environment we’re in so we can catch potential problems before they become injuries. Constant vigilance is necessary to have and cultivate a safe culture in the workplace—and at home, where safety is second nature for everyone.
