Herb Dawson

Senior Project Executive (CHI)

One of W.E. O’Neil’s most experienced Project Executives, Herb Dawson has displayed a proven talent for managing large, complex projects with intricate building systems over the course of his career. As the Chicago region’s Infrastructure Sector Leader, he manages projects and client relationships within that market sector. Herb most recently served as Project Executive of the new American Airlines Hangar 2 project at O’Hare International Airport, and has also delivered other highly visible, technologically advanced projects including Millennium Park’s Crown Fountain, Block 37, and the University of Chicago Eckhardt Research Center.

He is a valued member of the W.E. O’Neil family, joining the company after his graduation and progressing his career here over the last several decades. Herb is also a co-chair of W.E. O’Neil’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee in the Chicago region, and serves on the board of the American Heart Association’s Hard Hats with Heart in Chicago, which focuses on creating safe work environments on job sites.
