This 4.56 acre, senior living community, consists of a 145,611 SF, multi-wing building which includes 108 assisted living units and 46 memory care units, for a total of 154 units with common areas, and 67 parking spaces. The structure consists of a 4-story wing with cast in place podium deck and structural stud walls at levels 2 through roof, and a 1-story wing of memory care units.
The facility features unique and innovative Memory Care apartments based on The Green House Project concept. This design replaces the more traditional nursing home model with one that allows residents more privacy and control over their lives by creating smaller communities or “homes.” Each home includes 10 private rooms with bathrooms as well as a shared living room, kitchen and open dining area. In addition, each home provides residents access to a large solarium and secure outdoor courtyard. The St. Paul’s Plaza community also offers an indoor therapy pool and gym, salon, library, chapel, pub and various community amenities, including a 150 person multi-purpose room, two rooftop decks/entertainment areas, and family style gathering areas with bar-be-que facilities. St. Paul’s age in place model offers each resident different levels of care so they may remain in the same community, even if their care level requirement increases.
