Colorado School of Mines
13 weeks
To support the Colorado School of Mines’ plans for a new parking structure and future athletic field, W.E. O’Neil performed comprehensive excavation and site preparation. This work laid the groundwork for campus growth by creating level, build-ready areas that will serve students and visitors for years to come.
Our team installed engineered soil nail retaining walls to safely stabilize the site’s steep grades. This approach provided secure, permanent support while maximizing usable space for future construction.
Through careful planning and execution, the project was delivered on time and within budget. Our team’s attention to detail minimized excavation challenges and kept costs predictable for the university.
This successful site development project enabled the next phase of campus expansion. W.E. O’Neil is proud to play a part in advancing the School of Mines’ vision to improve parking, enhance athletic facilities, and elevate the overall student experience.
