W.E. O’Neil Marks 100 Years and Four Decades in California

Fun Fact: W.E. O’Neil expanded to California in 1985, opening our first office in El Segundo. Former CEO Rich Erickson (1973-2016) made the move from Chicago to lead our first California project, The Aviation Center in Manhattan Beach. The 75,000-SF, three-story commercial office building broke ground in December 1984 and still proudly stands today.

To celebrate W.E. O’Neil’s 100th anniversary and 40 years of building in California, our Los Angeles team hosted an event honoring our valued clients, industry partners, and colleagues. The evening was filled with stories, laughter, and a shared appreciation for all we’ve built together.
