Completion of S’PARK Market Office Building in Denver

Recent completion of the Market office building marks the first building to be turned over by W.E. O’Neil on the 10-acre S’PARK project, working with developers The John Buck Company and Element Properties. The building is a four-story, 55,000 SF building at the corner of 34th and Valmont Road in Boulder, Colorado.

The building features a loft style creative office environment with ground floor amenities that activate and connect it to the rest of the mixed-use development.  The outdoor plaza is “carved open” for outdoor dining around a fire pylon.  Additionally, multiple inset event decks with unparalleled views of the Flatirons make Market a truly unique office building for Boulder and the Colorado front range.

Market and the entire S’PARK development are reviving the old lumber yard that was once there, and creating a new space for collaboration, work, life, and play.  A multi-use pedestrian path was constructed within the scope on the project’s East side, which will ultimately be an addition to the neighborhood and Boulder pedestrian walkway system, making the development a huge contributor to connectivity in the community and the use of green infrastructure.  The S’PARK Development, which Market is a part of, is one of the first LEED Silver projects certified in Colorado under a LEED v4 Neighborhood Development.

The greater S’PARK Neighborhood development will ultimately be the mixed-use hub of Central Boulder incorporating retail, office, and residential uses with activated outdoor spaces.

This uniquely designed building is the hard northeast corner to the site and sets the example of the interesting and connected lifestyle development that is being created. We are extremely fortunate to be a partner in what will be a very successful and dynamic development for many years to come.
