Stephanie Cotey is the Senior Director of Project Services for W.E. O’Neil’s Chicago region and is a key resource within the company. Having served in nearly every operations role within W.E. O’Neil throughout her 10+ year career, Stephanie has a vast understanding of what it takes to lead from any position within a team.
In her current role, she oversees internal management processes on all projects, including project financials, virtual design and construction, and QA/QC. She is an integral part of delivering on W.E. O’Neil’s value of “one team”, and continues to optimize the company’s project services.
In addition to this, Stephanie leads W.E. O’Neil’s Chicago team of mentors in the ACE Mentorship Program throughout the school year. She is recognized for her leadership within the company and the A/E/C industry and was recently named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2021 publication of Notable Women in Construction and Design.
My interests growing up helped to lead me to the construction industry. I was a big fan of Legos as a kid and totally into math and science in high school. I love the accomplishment of seeing that finished product and knowing I played a part in bringing it to life.
