Just months after opening, Wind Creek Chicago Southland was declared Illinois’ fastest-growing casino. Located in East Hazel Crest, a south Chicago suburb, the 258,000 SF casino has redefined expectations for regional gaming and entertainment. The venue features 1,400 gaming stations, vibrant dining and retail areas, and essential back-of-house support. A multi-level parking garage for 1,424 vehicles, along with 532 on-grade spaces, was seamlessly integrated into the site through thoughtful circulation, landscaping, and irrigation design.

To meet an aggressive timeline, the project was executed in two phases. Phase one focused on delivering the casino, parking structure, and sitework, allowing for early opening. Careful coordination with the design team ensured the casino’s structural and mechanical systems could function independently from the hotel, even with shared infrastructure. The grand lobby’s dramatic art installation and the intricately designed gaming floor ceiling elevate the experience and set a new benchmark for elegance in the Midwest.

The 220,000 SF hotel and resort tower features 255 guest rooms and 43 luxury suites, along with a full-service spa, indoor pool, event space, and a rooftop restaurant and lounge with stunning views of the Chicago skyline—making Wind Creek a true regional destination.
