Offering a place of maximum happiness, the Chinmaya Mission is open to everyone regardless of background. The design of its new community assembly hall provides a welcoming space to all who enter. The new hall sits on a 5.76-acre site and is a two-story 11,300 SF wood-framed structure featuring exterior walkways, a covered courtyard, and 1,000 SF of recreational walking trails.
Site improvements include three bio-swales to filter and absorb storm run-off water and 5,000 SF of metal decking covering the courtyard. The portion of the site allotted to parking was extensively sloped and required the erection of 7,200 SF of retaining wall to provide a flat surface parking area.
