Todd Guthrie
With a natural inclination for building teams, Todd Guthrie established the Colorado regional office for W.E. O’Neil in 1999. Most recently serving as Regional President for Arizona, Colorado, and Tennessee business units, Todd was appointed to Chief Operating Officer in 2025.
He grew up one of four sons with a father who put them to work renovating their home. In his younger years, Todd learned the value of hard work, camaraderie, and to take pride in completion.
Over his nearly 40 years in construction, Todd has navigated multiple business cycles and countless aspects of the company’s operations. He considers his experience starting the Colorado office from scratch and later guiding multiple regions among the most valuable lessons he brings to his role as COO. Sharing these lessons with other business unit leaders will strengthen collaboration and position W.E. O’Neil for continued growth.
An ESOP, or Employee Stock Ownership Plan, is a game-changer for employees, and Todd believes that one of W.E. O’Neil’s values—“WE Own It”—uniquely captures how. “To ‘own it’,” he says, ”speaks to the individual’s commitment to every client, to valuing yourself as a team member, and to literally having ownership of the company itself.” Todd strives to develop leaders who understand what a unique opportunity we have as employee-owners, both to grow as individuals and to achieve wealth.
I am very excited about the future of W.E. O’Neil. Our past growth and success has presented us with the opportunity to structure our company for the future. Our plan is to become even stronger, more efficient, and the best client partner in the market.
