Inaugural Safe Site Award (Chicago)

On April 28th, W.E. O’Neil awarded its inaugural Safe Site Award to the project team at the British School of Chicago. The team’s approach to safety has gone above and beyond to make safety a priority by accompanying Safety Manager Dan Ruane during each audit, maintaining a clean and well organized job site and creating a “safety first” atmosphere.

Thank you to the team of Lance Hornaday, Brian Barry, Jim McErlean, Jake Giblin, and Ben Smith for their hard work to make the project a success. W.E. O’Neil provided lunch to everyone at the job site to thank them for their commitment to the safety of the project.

Owner Dan McCaffery and architect Joe Antunovich were on site to take part in the award ceremony and congratulate the team on their safe and successful project. The project is ahead of schedule and will be turned over to the British School of Chicago two weeks early before opening for the school year this fall.
