Marketing Communications Awards
Award of Excellence, Web Site-External Category | W.E. O’Neil Construction Website Rebuild
As W.E. O’Neil’s first national marcom employee, Anna Black stepped into a newly created role to unite and define the company’s brand across its offices nationwide. She is responsible for ensuring that O’Neil’s voice is consistent, compelling, and aligned with its values—crafting accessible narratives that resonate with clients, recruits, and employees alike.
Anna is most energized by the people behind the projects, believing their stories are the real foundation of the company’s success. Her sweet spot lies in creating content and implementing strategies that elevate those stories, further W.E. O’Neil’s mission, and strengthen the company’s stature in the eyes of both employee-owners and partners.
She is known for balancing the big picture with attention to detail, maintaining the vision of a project at the hub of many contributors, from subject matter experts to creatives to senior leaders. Through thoughtful solutions and clear context, she consults with stakeholders to keep efforts on course and ensure the story is the best it can be.
Her work has been nationally recognized, with multiple SMPS MarCom Awards of Excellence for website initiatives. But Anna’s greatest satisfaction comes from contributing to the legacy of W.E. O’Neil, where she helps position the firm for its second century of success.
