The Urban Park Amphitheater is a new outdoor concert venue in Broomfield, Colorado. It’s designed for live music, food trucks, vendor activities, and large community festivals, serving as a cultural and recreational destination.
The project includes a 1,796 SF one-story structure with an overhead canopy and an 826 SF support office. It uses Type IIB construction, which means the structure is built from non-combustible materials like steel or concrete without extra fireproofing coatings. This approach is cost-effective and meets code for this kind of low-rise commercial facility.
The site also includes two 420 SF food service buildings and two 215 SF port-a-let facilities.
A key part of construction was the radial concrete wall pour at the stage. This work required precise formwork and careful placement to get the correct curve and finish quality. Our team planned and executed this with a focus on craftsmanship.
We also prioritized the City’s schedule, completing the project on time so the first concert of the summer series could go ahead as planned.
