This 182,000 SF luxury living apartment complex is housed within a meticulously renovated vintage office building in the heart of the Chicago Loop. The Alfred required the demolition of an old 14-story office building to build a new 176-unit luxury apartment building that combines historic charm with modern amenities, boasting unique character. The floor finishes range from original hardwood flooring to newer sleek poured concrete.
Apartments feature in-unit laundry, custom cabinetry, kitchen islands, dishwashers, and oversized Chicago-style windows that provide plenty of natural light and a beautiful city view.
Named after the building’s original architect, Alfred Alschuler, The Alfred seamlessly blends the past with the present. Its location is adjacent to Chicago’s Adams and Wabash L stations, ensuring convenient access to transportation and connecting residents to the city’s vibrant offerings.
The project includes the renovation and restoration of the historic Miller’s Pub on the first floor and the preservation of historic windows on the second and third floors.
The Alfred provides accessible amenities such as a rooftop lounge, dry-cleaning services, a lounge area for workspaces, kitchen, pool table, and a gym.
