Partnering with PENN Entertainment we were able to contribute growth and energy to historic Black Hawk, Colorado with the Richman Beer Garden. Across the street from the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk, this new 3,440 SF beer garden provides a warm, comfortable, and beautiful setting to enjoy drinks and entertainment.
Our team overcame significant challenges working in the rugged hills of Colorado through the fall and early winter months. These included navigating construction around large rocks, unpredictable weather, high elevation, and the unique demands of the casino environment. Our team rose to the occasion, implementing innovative solutions every step of the way. Just two creative examples: to safeguard the project against inclement weather, we tented the work ahead of storms and used heating blankets to cure concrete pours properly.
Construction on this site included demolition of the existing asphalt parking lot where the new site was built, as well as architectural, electrical, landscaping, and plumbing work.
