Site Development Begins in Colorado Springs for Peak Innovation Park

W.E. O’Neil Construction commenced the next phase of site infrastructure development in the Peak Innovation Park.

The master-planned business park at the entrance to the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport is zoned for office, industrial, retail, entertainment, recreation, and hospitality development.

Urban Frontier, a local real estate development company, in conjunction with the City of Colorado Springs Municipal Airport have contracted W.E. O’Neil to conduct the site development work designed by civil engineering company, Enertia Consulting Group. W.E. O’Neil is providing erosion control, grading, wet utilities, site concrete, asphalt paving, pavement markings, landscaping, electrical and traffic signalization work that is supporting the continued development of Peak Innovation Park.

Roadways that will be extended or further developed include:

  • Powers Boulevard
  • Grinnell Boulevard
  • Integration Loop
  • Peak Innovation Parkway

The infrastructure improvements support future growth and existing international corporations such as Northrop Grumman, The Aerospace Corporation and Amazon who are already located within Peak Innovation Park.

The master planned business park is an Opportunity Zone, which can be an advantage for qualifying businesses.  Peak Innovation Park is also a:

  • Pikes Peak Enterprise Zone
  • Commercial Aeronautical Zone
  • Aviation Development Zone
  • Foreign Trade Zone
