2015 Gold Award for Best Redevelopment Project

W.E. O’Neil was recognized at the 2015 Commercial Real Estate Awards hosted by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Our W.E. O’Neil team, alongside Regency Center and Callison Architects, was awarded the Gold Award for Best Redevelopment Project for the Westlake Plaza and Center located in Westlake Village, California. Congratulations to our team and to everyone who took part in making this project a successful one.

Westlake Plaza and Center is a significant redevelopment project located in the Westlake Village neighborhood. The project included Preconstruction, and General Contracting services that were provided for the remodel of an existing 315,000 SF outdoor mall. The project also consists of the renovation and remodel of 4 retail buildings: including facades, storefront upgrades, and new roofing and removal and replacement of all existing hardscape, and removal and replacement of all parking lots.

Westlake Plaza Phase 2

W.E. O’Neil was awarded Phase 2 of the Westlake Plaza and Center which will include the additional renovations to the site, façade, roofing, glazing, tenant improvement. Scope of work includes Design Management of the same Design Team as Phase I and General Contracting Services.
