Project Engineer

  • Manages and maintains project documentation, including drawings, specifications, soils reports, RFIs, ASIs, etc.
  • Coordinates submittal process, including tracking, reviewing, resubmitting, monitoring procurement.
  • Utilizes on-line database, company intranet, project management and scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Assists PM with negotiating and documenting subcontracts and change orders, job costing and forecasting.
  • Assists Superintendent with scheduling of subcontractors and ensuring quality installations.
  • Attends and records minutes for owner meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, safety walks and meetings, etc.
  • Manages project close-out process.
  • Assists with college recruiting.

Project Manager

  • Has a wide range of experience in field operations and construction means and methods with assignments as Project Engineer.
  • Utilizes on-line database, company intranet, project management and scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Oversees all facets of the project, including scheduling, purchasing, quality and safety.
  • Provides stretch assignments and mentorship to project staff.
  • Has the ability to participate in estimating/pre-construction activities.
  • Manages project cost control and forecasting systems.
  • Leads courageously in identifying, correcting and/or avoiding potential schedule, budget or quality issues.
  • Consistently demonstrates company values and seeks to improve through personal and professional development.

Project Superintendent

  • Has a wide range of experience in field operations and construction means and methods with assignments as Project Engineer and/or Trade Superintendent.
  • Plans, coordinates and manages complex projects with many subcontractors.
  • Utilizes on-line database, company intranet, project management and scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Develops and maintains CPM master schedule, schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, recovery schedules
  • Manages on-site safety requirements through training, meetings, hazard analysis, preparation and consultation with safety director.
  • Competently manages budget and schedule when dealings with field changes.
  • Leads courageously in identifying, correcting and/or avoiding potential schedule, budget or quality issues.
  • Consistently demonstrates company values and seeks to improve through personal and professional development.

Estimators

  • Has a broad range of experience in field operations with work assignments as Project Engineer through Project Manager and Estimator.
  • Creates bid schedules
  • Utilizes on-line database, company intranet, project management and scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understands construction methods, can identify constructability issues, can read and understand construction documents.
  • Manages bid day organization, strategy, package preparation, proposal review, GC pricing and fee structure.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with owners and subcontractors.
  • Develops and executes value engineering strategies.
  • Leads courageously in identifying, correcting and/or avoiding potential schedule, budget or quality issues.
  • Consistently demonstrates company values and seeks to improve through personal and professional development.
